Are you ready to meet the Lord?

Do you know your Saviour?

The mission of the people behind this website is simple:  to lead others to our Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ.  We have been commissioned by Jesus, the most precious gift ever given to us by our Father God, to go out into the world and bring souls unto Him!

What Do You Plan on Doing with Forever?

Who will take care of me now?

Who will take care of me now? My home is destroyed; my job is gone. What about when I am old and unable to take care of myself? After seeing so many lives around us changed in the fall of 2005( Katrina--we are in the South), even the earthshaking devastation of September 11, it is easy to understand the insecurities that shape our lives. Mistakenly we look to our government, our unstable bank accounts, and our sometimes helpless relatives to help us in our times of need. As a result we often overlook the greatest source of care and security available---a LOVING GOD. JESUS is the primary source of provision in our times of need. All that HE asks is that we put our faith and trust in HIM. He promises this “deal of a lifetime.” We simply don’t believe that we can trust a force that is not seen with our daily cares, much less eternity and final judgment on our lives. The biggest mistake we make is to do nothing and rely on our own ever-failing strengths to bring us peace. We are failing to take advantage of peace of mind and heart that has already been purchased for us.

Life is filled with decisions. If I were to make the decision to drive very fast and reckless on the highway, endangering lives and breaking laws, there would be severe consequences. First, I would be stopped by the law. What if the situation was so bad that I lost my license: What if I were given a ticket and numerous fines that were so incredible that there was no way that I could ever repay them? What if all my rights were revoked and I was imprisoned indefinably with no hope for freedom? No hope…that is where I found my life…spiritually bankrupt with no hope. The laws I had broken in my life were insurmountable. The people I had hurt along the way were too many to number. But what if in this hopeless, lawbreaking scenario there was Someone to intercede--- Someone to take my place? What if an Advocate of some kind miraculously and mercifully stepped up and offered hope to my hopeless situation? What if He paid the fines, approached the Judge to plead my pitiful case and when there was nothing left to offer on my behalf, He took my place? In my hopeless spiritual situation this kind of mercy demanded my attention. When I Rejecting this kind of mercy results in eternal judgment. Accepting this sacrifice made on my behalf allowed me to step into a deep peace, a peace beyond understanding that God meant for us to have.

 Our Desperate Situation

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.

We are all guilty of sin and cannot even begin to approach God in such a condition.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ Our Lord.

The just payment that we should receive for this guilt of sin is death. Eternal death is eternal separation from God---in Hell. Through pitting our faith in His son Jesus Christ and surrendering and submitting ourselves to Him, we are presented with the unmerited gift of mercy…eternal life with HIM.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, “Verily, verily I say unto thee except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The “kingdom of God” is the relationship in which those who are truly saved live under God’s rule. We become citizens of God’s kingdom when we are saved, and we experience its fullness when we die. When Jesus returns to Earth He will “hand over the kingdom to God the Father” (1 Cor. 15:24). He states that there is no other way to enter. No other religion or philosophy can produce what is required to enter. Jesus was talking to a member of the Pharisees named Nicodemus in this scripture. The Pharisees were a party of laymen in Judaism. They were very serious about the law of the Old Testament and how it was interpreted by the Jewish rabbis. Nicodemus was also a member of the Jewish ruling council. This council was known as the Sanhedrin, which was made up of 70 members. It was the equivalent to our present day US Supreme Court. Although the priests were trying to trap Jesus with difficult questions concerning the law, Nicodemus seemed to be honestly inquiring about salvation. He had full knowledge of religion, but found it useless without Jesus. When he secretly met with Jesus in the night and asked the question we all want an answer to, this was Jesus’ reply: “To be ‘born again’ means a new giving of life from above.” It is not just an intellectual enlightenment or a change in behavior. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by Me.”

Just believing there is a God is not sufficient. Satan himself knew this. You must have a personal relationship of your very own with His son. God will only acknowledge you coming to Him through Christ. Romans 10:9-11 If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scriptures saith…whosoever believeth on Him shalt not be ashamed. We must confess Jesus with our words. We must believe in the death and \burial of Christ. We must believe that He was raised from the dead and that the resurrection power to overcome and be raised from that grave lives within us, and that we are to function under the power and authority that He has purchased for us through His death. We must not ever be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock. If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come into him, and I will sup with him and him with Me. God will, by the power of the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of God that speaks to our hearts), convict our hearts and minds to open the doors of our hearts and invite Him onto our lives. He then makes a promise that He will have an ongoing, interactive relationship with us---as personal and intimate as sharing a meal.

What about you? Jesus provided our salvation through His willingness to die on the cross for our sins. Are you confident that when you die that you will enter Heaven? Jesus wants every person who believe in Him to be confident they will never die spiritually. The peace and comfort in knowing that God is in the control of our lives, has created a specific destiny for our lives in the moment that He formed us, and that we can truly trust Him with every facet of our lives will make your life worth living.

Getting Rich Quick--From My Site!

I might not want a large amount of text on my home page if I want to guide visitors toward my other pages. Instead of text, I can add others' buttons to this first page, and I'll be rewarded for people who click on the buttons. For example, if a visitor signs up for a Visa using the NextCard button on my site, I earn at least $20!

Behind the Scenes of My Home Page

Even if I don't put much text on my home page, it's a good idea to include hidden tools that will help me promote my site, so people other than my friends and family actually see it. For example, I could add meta tags, which are hidden codes that allow search engines to find my site. I could also install stats and a counter so I know how many people are visiting. If not many are visiting, submitting my site to search engines will guide more traffic to my site.
